The Absurd Series experiments with non-linear control mechanisms, turning chaotic mathematics and live environmental data into driving musical forces.

TurboBrain ​

Binaural beats generator for psychoacoustic entrainment.

  • Psychoacoustics: By panning pure sine tones slightly offset left and right (e.g. 400Hz vs 410Hz), the human brain hallucinates a third 10Hz phantom frequency.
  • Mapping: Presets built specifically for Gamma (Focus), Beta, Alpha, Theta, and Delta (Deep Sleep) entrainment stages.

TurboGeiger ​

Hardware-free Geiger-Müller counter simulation.

  • Mathematics: Mathematical Poisson processes emulate true radioactive isotope decay.
  • Application: Provides absolutely un-quantized, stochastic drum machine transients. There is no grid; only probability and decay.

TurboWeather ​

Real-time environmental atmospheric synthesizer.

  • Sourcing: Uses the Open-Meteo API to grab live data of the exact geographical coordinates of the user.
  • Audio-Mapping: Temperature shifts alter pink noise filters. Global wind speed drives LFO amplitude. Rain forecasts synthesize randomized percussive droplet generators.

TurboBoid ​

Artificial Life / Flocking Algorithm Sequencer.

  • Simulation: Implements classic Boid algorithms (Separation, Alignment, Cohesion) on an abstract 2D plane.
  • Triggering: If a simulated node crosses the boundaries of the field, it triggers generative geometric audio spikes. The music literally controls itself via swarm intelligence.

TurboSonar ​

Deep-water ping sonar mapping.

  • Synthesis: Impulses high-frequency oscillator pings into a synthetic abyssal ConvolverNode.
  • Timbre: The reverberation is an artificial 5-second long-tail decay designed to simulate immense submarine pressure networks.
