Recommended Platforms
b2v is intended for use on platforms where you control the storage. Self-hosted or locally-run platforms are the safest choice.

- Host your own instance on a VPS or dedicated server.
- Upload
b2vvideos to a private or unlisted channel.
Nextcloud
Nextcloud is a self-hosted file storage and collaboration platform.
- Store
.mkvor.mp4files directly in your file storage. - Works with the Nextcloud "Media" app for browsing.
Jellyfin
Jellyfin is a free, open-source media server.
- Point Jellyfin at a directory of
b2vvideos to organize and access them. - No tracking, no subscription required.
Decentralized networks (IPFS, LBRY/Odysee)
- IPFS: Content-addressed, immutable storage. Files are publicly accessible via public gateways unless restricted.
- LBRY/Odysee: Blockchain-based content distribution. Review abuse policies before uploading non-standard content.
